Terms & Conditions

Thank you for considering Kristi K Makeup and Hair (ABN 94659671656) for your next event. 

 

Booking a service with Kristi K Makeup and Hair confirms that you understand and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Bridal booking fee

Bookings are subject to availability. A booking fee of 20% will be required for all bridal bookings. Booking fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Booking fees will need to be paid within 14 days of the booking being taken to secure your wedding date. You will receive a personalised quote with all payment details included. Your appointment will be confirmed and secured once the booking fee has been received by bank deposit or PayPal. An invoice will be provided once deposit has been received with the remaining balance. 

 

If the booking fee has NOT been paid within 14 days, unless instructed otherwise by Kristi, then your booking will be cancelled. An explanation will be made to you at the time of cancellation.

 

If you choose to reschedule your wedding day and Kristi is available, your booking fee will be transferred to that day.

If I am available for your wedding date, and you would like a trial before paying the booking fee, please organise an appointment asap to avoid disappointment.

 

Service Booking Fee

Bookings are subject to availability. A booking fee of $20 per person and per service will be required for ALL bookings. Eg: If booking an appointment for hair AND makeup a $40 booking fee will be required per person. 

Booking fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Booking fees will need to be paid at the time of booking or within 48 hours. Your booking will not be confirmed unless a booking fee has been paid. The booking fee will be taken off your total on the day of your appointment. If booking online, a confirmation email will be sent to you immediately. All other bookings will receive an invoice with the payment recorded once it has been received. This will confirm your appointment.

 

If the booking fee has NOT been paid within 48 hours, unless instructed otherwise by Kristi, then your appointment will be cancelled without any notice.

 

If you need to reschedule to a different day or time, please do so by logging in to your account online or by contacting Kristi directly. Your booking fee will be transferred to the new booking. Please try to reschedule earlier than 48 hours BEFORE your appointment. The booking fee will be transferred if rescheduling only and earlier than 48 hours before your appointment.

Online Bookings 

Booking fee payments can be made online via credit card (visa, mastercard, amex) or PayPal. If you would prefer to do a bank deposit, please select 'pay in person' at time of booking and contact Kristi immediately. Bank details are listed below. You will receive an email confirming your appointment has been booked. I will also receive an email notifying me of your appointment and another with a payment receipt. 

 

The remaining balance will need to be paid on the day of your appointment. This can be paid using the correct cash (preferred) or eftpos (+1.9% surcharge). In special circumstances, Kristi will allow you to pay via an OSKO payment using your banking app. This must be paid BEFORE you leave your appointment.

Bridal Bookings

Booking fee payments can be made via PayPal or bank deposit. Payment details will be listed on your quote or invoice. Please include your name and date in the description (eg: Kristi150520). A screenshot of the transfer will need to be sent to Kristi, either by text 0405283795 or email hello@kristikmakeup.com

 

The remaining balance will need to be paid with the correct cash on the day, or up to 5 days prior to your wedding, if paying via bank deposit. Please ensure you have collected everyone's payments BEFORE your appointment time. Kristi will not accept the full payment outside of the above time frame under any circumstances. 

All Other Bookings

An invoice will issued with the amount of your service and the booking fee amount will be communicated to you by Kristi. The payment details will be listed on the invoice and can be made via PayPal or bank deposit. Please include your name and date in the description (eg: Kristi150520). A screenshot of the transfer will need to be sent to Kristi, either by text 0405283795 or email hello@kristikmakeup.com

The remaining balance will need to be paid on the day of your appointment. This can be paid using the correct cash (preferred) or eftpos (+1.9% surcharge). Cancellations

Please allow at least 48 hours notice if cancelling or rescheduling your appointment. All booking fees are non-refundable and will be kept as a cancellation fee. Rescheduling an appointment within 48 hours of your appointment time will incur a new booking fee and your original booking fee will be kept as a cancellation fee. 

In the extremely unlikely event that Kristi is unable to fulfill your booking due to circumstances beyond her control (severe illness, personal emergency etc), Kristi will try to find another highly recommended, reputable and competent artist for your appointment. They will receive a brief (if applicable) and any other information needed. Your booking fee will be transferred to the artist. If I am unable to find a suitable replacement, your booking fee will be fully refunded or a credit note will be issued for the amount, to be used within 2 years.

In the event of a pandemic, natural disaster or something similar, and your event or wedding is postponed, then I will provide you with dates I am NOT available and do my best to make myself available for your new date. Your booking fee will be transferred to the new date. If you have a chosen to cancel your wedding or have chosen a date that I am unavailable and I can not accommodate your booking at all,  out of good faith, a credit note will be issued for the full amount of the booking fee. This can be used for any appointment, pending availability, up to 2 years from the date of issue. Credit note T&C's will be listed on the credit note at time of issue. Unfortunately no refunds will be given as my booking fees are non-refundable.

Refunds

Kristi does not offer refunds for any completed services. Therefore if you are in any way dissatisfied, the onus is on the client to discuss with Kristi while she is on location. All discussions regarding refunds/discounts will be entered into on a case-by-case basis.

Travel Fee

A travel fee will be charged when travelling more than 30 minutes in any direction from McCulloch Road, Blacktown 2148. Travel fees start from $30. The exact fee will be quoted at the time of your enquiry, based on the location of the destination and it will be itemised on your quote.  The cost of any tolls will also be added on top of the travel fee.

 

For any interstate or international travel, all costs are to be paid at the expense of the client. Costs may include, but are not limited to, flights, accommodation, transportation, baggage fees, parking etc. Please contact me directly for a personal quote for this type of travel.

 

Parking

In circumstances where parking fees may apply, the client will be required to cover the charges where the service is being done. For example, hotel or parking meter. As Kristi carries a lot of equipment, parking will need to be provided as close as possible to the location. Valet parking will be used if available at the hotel and will be charged to clients room. If parking cannot be charged to the room or the client cannot pay it at the time of the appointment, a copy of the receipt and an invoice with the amount will be sent to the client to be paid ASAP.

 

Early Morning and After Hours Booking Fee

An early morning fee may apply for any appointments prior to 6.30am. An after hours fee may apply for any appointment after 6pm. This will be quoted on a case by case basis, at the time of your enquiry. 

Clients Responsibility

Allergies

Kristi or any other artist working with her, are not, under any circumstances, responsible for any allergic reactions to products used. The onus is on the client to notify Kristi if you have sensitive skin or have any known allergies. You are more than welcome to bring your own product that you are familiar with and Kristi will be happy to use that.

Skin and Hair Preparation

Please ensure that for all makeup services your skin has been cleansed, moisturised and is free of any makeup products.

 

For all hair services we recommend washing your hair the morning or night BEFORE your appointment. Please ensure it is dry and any frizz or curls have been smoothed out prior to the service (unless otherwise discussed). When washing your hair, Kristi suggests for you to do a double shampoo and only lightly condition the mid lengths to ends ensuring this is thoroughly washed out. We also recommend avoiding the use of any hot tools (blow dryer is ok) and products prior to the commencement of your hair service. 

PHOTOS

To assist with future hairstyles and makeup looks and for promotional proposes, Kristi may take photos prior, during and upon completion of any styles and looks she creates. These photos may be used for public display (website, social media, business cards, etc). If you are uncomfortable with this and wish for your images not to be used, please advise Kristi ahead of time, otherwise it is presumed that you agree for her to use your images as she sees fit.

Please note, all terms and pricing are subject to change without notice unless a final quote has been given and booking fee has been paid.
